G. & B. Finch
Started back in 1957 with an Allis-Chalmers crawler, a plough and a hard working attitude, gerald Finch worked tirelessly with the support of his wife Barbara and son Steven to create the company that G & B Finch Limited is today. From one tractor and plough, the company is now well known throughout the South East, and runs a fleet of trucks and plant totalling over 80 vehicles.
In the earlier days the company specialised in plant hire, then haulage and today headed by Steven Finch has added demolition, concrete crushing and screening, recycling, utilities contracting, heavy lifting, site remediation and menage design and build to its CV and can supply just about any service to the construction industry with a quality service to the customer.
The 29th April saw the sad passing of Gerald Alfred Finch aged just 70. |
